COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines

  1. JUMP START PROGRAM / PRACTICE FOR SUMMER AAU COVID-19 GUIDELINES
  2. 1. All Coaches / Staff are Required to wear a mask during training / practice
  3. 2. Spectators are required to wear a mask / must remain outside of court area as directed by Coach / Staff
  4. 3. All Players must wear mask provided by Wizards Basketball or a mask that will be examined prior to start of training. Players must wear mask during warm up, player can remove mask once they are social distanced for workout. Player can continue to wear mask during entire training but is not mandatory.
  5. 4. Temperature of players, coach and staff will be taken before every session. if temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius (99.5 Fahrenheit) or higher, that individual will be sent home.
  6. 5. Hand Sanitizer will be available at all training sessions. All players are required to sanitize their hands before, after and during each session. Game Balls / all Equipment will be sanitized before and after each session or practice.
  7. 6. Coaches / Staff will refrain from up close instruction towards athletes, they will practice social distancing during Covid-19 protocol.
  8. 7. Wizards Basketball will add additional time between games for staff to clean & sanitize the space.
  9. 8. Wizards Basketball encourages individuals considered "high risk" to please stay home
  10. 9. Parents / Guardians / Athletes must depart the facility / park etc directly after their training session is over. There will be NO HUDDLE at any time during our sessions or practice
    10. Parents / Athletes will enter the park / gym No Earlier than 15 minutes before start of practice or training                                   
    (even if 1st scheduled session or practice of the Day).
    11. Spectators can stay and watch any session or practice but must sit within social distancing rules (6 feet apart).
    12. 
    There will be NO Pre or Post Game Handshaking and NO player will extend a hand to help another player up. We will enforce these guidelines to help reduce the spread of Covid-19

  11. SUMMER AAU TOURNAMENT GAMES COVID-19 GUIDELINES (After July 11th)
  12. 1. All Staff, Scorekeepers, Referees, Spectators and Coaches are required to wear a mask while in the facility. Temperature of players / coach / staff will be taken before every Tournament game. if temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius (99.5 Fahrenheit) or higher, that individual will be sent home.
  13. 2.  All Fans over the age of 3 MUST wear a mask & maintain social distancing (6 feet) from non-family members.
  14. 3. Players must wear masks into and out of all Tournament Game Facilities. Masks can be taken off once the team begins their pre-game warm up. Players may continue to wear masks during the games, but it is not mandatory.
    1. 4. Hand Sanitizer will be available at all score tables. All players are required to sanitize their hands before and after each game. Game Balls will be sanitized before, during and after each game.
    2. 5. Coaches will refrain from yelling at officials during Covid-19 protocol. Any face to face arguing by an official or a coach will result in an expulsion from the event!
      6. Wizards Basketball will add additional time between games for staff to clean & sanitize the space.
      7. Wizards Basketball encourages individuals considered "high risk" to please stay home
      8. Wizards Basketball suggests using credit card to pay for admission but cash will remain an option.  
      9. The number of spectators permitted in the venue / parks  will be determined by guidelines set by County Parks / Township Recreation Department
    3. 10. Teams, Coaches and Spectators must depart the facility / park directly after their game is over. There will be NO Post or Pre Game Bench/coach Meetings or huddles.
      11. Teams / Coaches will enter the facility/gym No Earlier than 15 minutes before their games (even if 1st Game of the Day).
      12. Sanitizing Stations will be set up throughout the facility or park
      13. Spectators will NOT enter the facility any Earlier than 10 minutes prior to game time. This will allow plenty of time to get a seat within social distancing rules (6 feet).

      There will be NO Pre or Post Game Handshaking and NO player will extend a hand to help another player up.We will enforce these guidelines to help reduce the spread of Covid-19
